How ITs are Organized

HOW ARE THE ITINERARIES ORGANIZED?

The itineraries in this website were arranged by location and into five categories: the places "in and around Manila" which includes outlying provinces Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal, places "North of Manila," places "South of Manila," Visayas and Mindanao.

Most itineraries are composed of :

Basic Information: Location of the destination particularly the province, the elevation in meters above sea level (masl), the level or classification based on the conventions or classifications used in this book as previously discussed, jump off points, the average day required to explore the place, the minimum days required to visit the place which is advised only for seasoned hikers or mountaineers and the distinct characteristics or how the mountain is popularly described.

Information: Composed of basic geological, aesthetic or special features both natural and man made, historical, topographical and travel information on the place of destination.

Legends: Legends and myths surrounding the place.

Where and How to Go: Information on how to go to the place, modes of transportation, contact persons and useful information for your travel.

Points of Interest: Other places of interest within the locality or somewhere along the way from Manila to the place of destination.
